During his talk at the event at the Capital, Ander Caballero, Delegate of Euskadi in the US, expressed his condolences to Pete’s widow, to the society, Idaho institutions, and to the entire Basque community, of which Pete was prominent member. After defining Cenarrusa as “Basque-American, a good friend, and tireless supporter of the Basque Country and the Basques in the US,” Caballero indicated that Euskadi, with the entire Basque community abroad, had lost a key figure in the relationship between the Basque Country and the Diaspora.
