San Francisco, California, USA. The Basque cultural association BEO (Basque Educational Organization), headquartered in San Francisco but with members from all over the country, made an announcement that we are sharing here. The euskaltzale (basquephile) entity's founding objective is to educate, disseminate and promote greater and better knowledge about the Basques and Basque culture in their American environment and so hopes to increase the effectiveness of its action, in this particular case that which has to do with world of arts.
"We want your opinion," "Your opinion is important," they stress in a note that we provide here: “The Basque Educational Organization (BEO) is currently conducting a survey to explore the opportunities and challenges we have in our endeavor to support the arts (including, but not limited to: visual, literary, performing, and culinary arts). We’re interested in hearing from everyone - supporters, artists, and aspiring artists. Completing this shouldn’t take any more than 10-15 minutes… and the deadline is this Saturday, October 10th at 12:00 p.m. (PST).”
“Some of you may identify as both an artist and a supporter, for example; please feel free to fill in the questionnaire twice, once in each category (e.g. artist and supporter) - the questions / experience is different for each category. Please also share this with your households. The more feedback we get, the better. We would love to hear from everyone! Thank you, in advance, for taking the time to complete this. Your 10-15 minutes will mean everything to us.”
