Montevideo, Uruguay. The gathering was in Villa Bautista, La Tuna, Canelones, and aimed at working on training people on Basque club administration, or those who aspire to do so one day. They worked on aspects related with culture, the current situation of Euskadi, administration and relationships with the Basque Government. Organized and sponsored by the Federation of Basque Institutions in Uruguay (FIVU) participants represented Basque clubs in San Jose (San Joseko Euskaldunak Taldea), Carmelo (Ibai Ondoko Etxea), and Montevideo (Centro Euskaro and Haize Hegoa).
During the camp three workshops were held: “Managing cultural identities,” taught by Nahia Inthamoussu who attended Gaztemundu 2019; “Communication,” taught by Mariel Fernandez and “The Economic Agreement between Euskadi and the State,” by Juan Pedro Arin, Federation president.
FIVU announced that in the month of November, besides being represented by various member clubs, and dantzaris at Semana Nacional Vasca in Bahia Blanca, Argentina, the Federation also attended the annual lunch for Basque descendants organized by the Vasconia Basque group in the Uruguayan city of Florida.
