Donostia-San Sebastián. From November 4-7, today through Thursday, the 16th International Congress on Exile entitled, “Exile and the Humanities,” will take place in Donostia. The inauguration will take place this afternoon in the events hall at the Provincial Government of Gipuzkoa and the sessions will take place, beginning tomorrow at the Carlos Santamaria Library at the University of the Basque Country treating topics such as teaching, pedagogy and media communication. At the same time, the exhibit “1939: Ortzimuga txarrantxadunak” (1939, the Wired Horizons) will also be inaugurated.
Organized by the Hamaika Bide Elkartea, the University of the Basque Country (EHU-UPV), the William A. Douglas Center for Basque Studies at the University Of Nevada, Reno, and the University of Deusto.
