La Plata, Argentina. For years, the Euzko Etxea in La Plata has maintained a strong commitment to the inclusion of disabled people, specifically in relation to sports. As such, the Basque club will begin a new cycle of training talks for inclusion, entitled “Inclusion in the Physical Education Class,” which will last throughout the month of June, with sessions every Tuesday, on the 15th, 22nd, and 29th. It will be taught by Claudio Falco, Professor of Physical Education, psychomotor teacher at UNPAZ, and writer of the book Physical Education, an Inclusive Proposal.
This cycle includes a fee of $1500 (15,7 dollars, official exchange).
The proposal in which the Euzko Etxea supports the Charlemos Group will continue during the month of July with a new course entitled “Sports Leaders,” with three meetings on a date to be announced. These will be taught by Mr. Alejandro Perez, Director of the National Secretarial of Sports in the area of Adapted Sports and Coordinator of the Diploma on Physical Activity and Adapted Sports at the Atlantida University. This workshop will also cost $1500.
These cycles proposed by the Charlemos Group at the Euzko Etxea began in April with “Adapted and Paralympic Sports.” They are intended for sports professionals and students in related studies; teachers; athletes; and people interested in the subject in general.
