The Eusko Brasildar Etxea, the youngest Sao Paulo Basque Club, has announced its plans for the coming months beginning with a delegation from the club attending Semana Vasca 2017 in San Nicolas, Argentina, followed by a trip to Santiago, Chile, and an ambitious plan for may 2018 for a trip to Euskal Herria to improve their Basque in a barnetegi in Lazkao, followed by a month-long tour of the country, north and south.

According to club sources, members and friends of the Eusko Brasildar Etxea met the first week of September “in the club’s new headquarters to enjoy a paella and plan their upcoming activities.” They also took advantage of the get tighter to celebrate “the triumph of one of our members and representives in the Brazilian Karting Competition, Rikardo Mendizabal,” Oskar Goitia, club president, told EuskalKultura.com.
“We already have a clair idea of the members that will be part of the group from our club to travel to Semana Vasca Argentina in San Nicolas in the beginning of November, and who will continue on to Santiago, Chile,” Goitia said.
The president of the newest club in Sao Paulo also let us know about the members’ excitement who are planning a trip to Euskadi in May 2018, “where a group from our club will spend the month at Maizpide Barnetegi in Lazkao, and then tour both Iparralde and Hegoalde during the month of June.”
