Sao Paulo, Brazil. During this year marked by the pandemic and quarantine, as the majority of Basque clubs around the world, Sao Paulo Eusko Alkartasuna, the oldest Basque club in Brazil had to also adapt to the virtual. As a result of these changes, it began to organize some activities online, and generate contents to share on its social media, working hard to maintain constant communication with its members and friends. A lot of work was done and the results are now available to all.
Among the most important changes are its new website casabascadesaopaulo.com.br, now with its own domain. You can learn about the club’s history, its activities, and goals as well as leave suggestions on the website. The page is bilingual Portuguese-Basque and includes a lot of photographic material.
Eusko Alkartasuna has also announced its new email contato@casabascadesaopaulo.com.br. In regards to social media, the club is active on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin.
In this 2020, the club also recuperated the club’s coat of arms created in 1960, by its founding members. According to club sources, the only image of the coat of arms they had was on some old letter head, and now they have redesigned it to begin using it again.
