Buenos Aires, Argentina. Based on the belief that “shared reading creates a closeness between the world of text and other possible worlds and experience,” the Eusko Kultur Etxea opens its doors for a reading workshop on the Mythological Basque Imaginary taught by Dr. Luis Maria Etcheverry. There will be eight meetings of 90 minutes each, in which different thematic units will be addressed. The first four are scheduled and will take place on Thursdays, March 21, and 28 and Thursday April 4th and 11th from 7-8:30pm.
Materials will be provided by the organizers and the workshop costs $400 per person per four meetings. Two copies of “Veiled Gold. Basque Mythological Experiences,” by Luis Maria Etcheverry, published by Ekin will be raffled off among participants.
