Donostia-San Sebastián. As EuskalKultura.eus has been reporting the sociolinguistic exercise known as, Euskaraldia celebrated its second edition November 20-December 4th with many individuals and institutions participating in the proposal. Many of these programs also included the celebration of the International Day of Euskera on December 3rd, which allowed Euskalduns, including those who live or were born abroad, with a special framework to make themselves heard in Euskera.
Through the network of lectureships sponsored by the Etxepare Basque Institute in more than 35 universities and thanks to the Euskara Munduan program developed in Basque clubs, Euskera was the focus of many events, all of them shared widely on social media from Japan to Berlin, from Catalonia to Chile, or from Australia to Mexico.
It is not possible to reflect them all, but following we provide a screenshot of Euskaraldia and ENE 2020 in various parts of the globe. A resounding Zorionak to those who once again, and every day, commit to our language!

They prepared games and acted as teachers, teaching us what they had learned. They did a great job! Friends from Argentina also participated. Together we sang “Guk Euskaraz,” and “Zorionak,” to Professor Martin because it was his birthday. At the end, we received their evaluations, and all were very positive. The pandemic can become an opportunity to carry out this kind of activities and to unleash our love for Basque.”]
