Donostia-San Sebastián. EuskalKultura.eus joins in the two-day strike called by more than one thousand creators and professionals in Basque culture and won’t publish its bulletin, or on its website from noon today, until noon on Thursday, to then continue with its usual commitment to its readers. The call for the strike came from more than one thousand agents in Basque culture, due to the situation generated by the Cronoavirus, and the increasing precariousness in this sector, which is already economically particularly weak. EuskalKultura.eus joins in the call made from Kulturgintzan to take urgent measures and to reflect on the current cultural model.
As many others, EuskalKultura.eus, reacted to the quarantine and the current crisis redoubling its effort to service the public in the Diaspora, in order to better serve the Basques of the Diaspora, even if its prior precariousness has become greater due to the crisis we are now experiencing.
