EuskalEtxeak.net continues to grow, little by Little, but at a constant rate.  Its Diaspora Archive receives contributions from so many Basque clubs and Basque communities as well as individuals, guaranteeing that they aren’t lost, but preserved and can be accessed online from all over the world.  EuskalEtxeak.net has also publicized its gratitude to everyone who has contributed.  Will you send your photos?

Vitoria-Gasteiz.  Many people go to EuskalEtxeak.net expressly to rummage through the Archive and see if they can find a photo of this festival or that one, or some activity that they had been part of at some time.  If they don’t find what they are looking for, then they end up sending their own photos so that their activities can be documented and kept safe so that they can be consulted and preserved for anyone else who may be interested.  

As part of this dynamic collaboration, the website recently announced the addition of 6,000 new images, bringing the Basque Diaspora Archive to more than 40,000 photos of event and activities organized at Basque clubs around the world.

They also report that some of the latest additions to the gallery include the Txikis Euskera workshop in Arrecifes, San Fermin in Lima and Jaialdi in san Francisco, Semana Vasca in Chile, and tamborrada in Mexico along with Euskera Day in Montevideo, to name a few.

These are photos that are identified and classified thanks to the collaboration of those who send them.  To facilitate navigation, all the pictures can be consulted and are classified in the following way:
