Montreal, Quebec. The Euskaldunak Quebec Basque Association is hosting this year’s Fall NABO meeting on October 7th, as part of its Euskal Diasporaren Asteburua. The weekend festivities will begin on Friday, October 6th with a reception at Station HO.ST at 6pm. On Saturday, the meeting will be held at the Marché Jean Talon with breakfast being served at 8:30am followed by the NABO meeting at 9am. This will be newly-elected NABO President, Annie Gavica’s, first meeting at the helm.
With the official business of the weekend out of the way, Saturday afternoon will include Herri Kirolak provided by members of the New England Basque Club, Basque dancing, a pintxo contest and a dinner dance. On Sunday, October 8th the events will move to the Lachine Rowing Club where there will be a rowing exhibition on the club’s trainera by local rowers, and a picnic.
