Lima, Peru. “Basques in the World,” visited Lima to record the program that will be broadcast today by ETB2. Reporter Pedro Mardones, along with cameramen Joan Vinos toured and showed the city accompanied by six Basques that live here: Maider (Zumarraga), David (Urnieta), Izaro (Zarautz), Gonzalo (Indautxu), Idoia (Hernani) and Bastien (Sara). For an hour, the moderator and guests walk through gastronomic circuits, beaches and historic places.
The crew also visited the Euskal Etxea where they shared in a dinner with other club members. There, Mardones was able to talk with Basques that have been in the city for a long time, as well as get to know the club’s headquarters and share a moment with the locals.
