Eneko Espino: "The children are the most important part of Udaleku and the guarantee that Basque culture will live on in the US"

Last Friday, July 3rd, Udaleku 2015 ended with a final performance at the San Francisco Basque Cultural Center. During two weeks, 116 kids from all over the US learnt about Basque Culture and overall had a terrific time at the NABO summer camp. Udaleku is an unforgettable experience, not only for the children, but also for their teachers. Eneko Espino, for example, has come over from Gasteiz for the sixth year in a row, to teach txistu to the kids: "It is great to see that they appreciate your work. But the best part is the people I have met. I have felt at home, here at the US".

San Francisco, USA. This year the main theme of Udaleku was Xiberoa and the kids performed a pastorala, tipical play made by a village's residents in Zuberoa. Here's a video:
