The scholarship program, Global Training 2016, provides Basque Country youth another opportunity to carry out projects in companies abroad.  Currently, Garapen and Sustapena in Donostia are gathering projects from companies from around the world interesting in some of these workers.  The deadline to submit projects is at the beginning of April.  The program will take care of the salary of the students chosen as well as their stays.  The success of the program is notable and “the rate of students who end up staying at the company is very high, nearly 80%,” Izaskun Kortazar from Garapen told EuskalKultura.com.

Donostia-San Sebastian.   The Global Training Scholarship program provides Basque Country youth the possibility to carry out internships in companies around the world, in order to complement their professional training as well as contribute to the professional world.  The program is open to companies in any country and in prior editions have had companies in England, Ireland, Colombia, Argentina, Austria, and Chile participating to name a few.

The possibility of adding a highly qualified Basque youth to your Company is especially interesting for companies and professionals in the Basque Diaspora, so EuskalKultura.com is inviting you all to present your projects to the 2016 Global Training program.

Projects should be presented to Garapen, the Basque Association of Development Agencies, or to Donostiako Sustapena-Fomento de San Sebastián the Agency of Development and the Department of Economic Promotion in Dnostia-San Sebastian.  Once selected, these projects will be published on the Global Training website, and the call for applications interested in these will be opened. Afterwards, there will be a selection to choose the most qualified individuals.

The internship will be at least for 8 months, during which the program will take care of paying the student.  The hosting business will be in charge of paying the salary for at least three of these months.
