Donostia-San Sebastian. Christmas is a very special time for Basques in the Diaspora and for many who spend this time away from family. For them and also for anyone wanting to send good wishes in Basque, the Kolorekolore.com website gives us a very original and fun idea; create and color your own Christmas cards.
This site, supported by nini_bat, hopes to provide quality illustrations to celebrate the holidays with Basque characters and traditions. Using this service is easy, and even though it is completely done in Basque, it is as easy as clicking on the various options to see the designs and choose the ones you like.
After choosing your card, all you have to do is print it on D4 paper, fold it and you’re done! The website also provides other options for those who would like to get the little ones in the house involved: print the cards in black and white and let them color them.
The site also offers other very attractive options for very small children, like masks that they can download and print of Christmas characters like the Olentzero and Mari Domingi so they can color them themselves.
The site is supported by the Provincial Government of Gipuzkoa, Hik Hasi and TtiKlik.com Elkargunea. Anyone who would like to support this initiative can become a sustatzailea (supporter) of Kolorekolore.com and in exchange for your support; you can propose a card design.
