Paraná, Argentina. The 29th Festival of Collectivities in Paraná took place on November 17-18 organized by the Entre Rios Union of Collectivities. The artistic festival took place under the moon, at Puerto Nuevo, where a stage was set up and where groups from various communities danced and sang. In the case of the Basques, once again the dantzaris from Urrundik were there to perform some Basque classics like “Arcos,” and “San Miguel.”
Urrundik’s performance was on November 18th and the dantzaris were very happy with how it all went, to the extent of saying that it was a “magic night,” accompanied by the moon that was reflected in the waters of the Parana.
After performing two shows in the last two weeks, at the local festival as well as at Semana Vasca in Mar del Plata the Euskal etxea is now getting ready for the end of 2018 activities.
