Buenos Aires, Argentina. Once again, the chapel at the College Euskal Echea in the capita will become the scene for classic music concerts organized by the institution. The 2014 cycle began on May 14th with the presentation of organist Mario Videla and will continue this Wednesday, June 11th with a new program for the Argentinean public.
Thanks to the group “La rosa purpura del Plata” the chapel’s historic organ will be heard playing various pieces by Basque-Mexican composer Manuel de Sumaya, “The Handel of America.” Selected pieces include: Si ya a aquella nave, Como aunque culpa, Pescador soberano and Ya la naturaleza redimida, to name a few.
