Azul, Argentina. Last Friday, Cesar Arrondo gave a talk to present Hipolito Yrigoyen. First 100 Years of Popular Sovereignty at the Gure Txokoa Basque Club in Azul. Some 30 people accompanied the writer and the board of directors at the event. Various local media also covered it and interview Arrondo to publicize the event.
With the book presentation, the club opened the doors to its new clubhouse where they have been settled since June 1. Gure Txokoa’s new facilities are located at B. J. Ronco 675, and even if activities are taking place there, the date of its official inauguration is yet to be confirmed. Club sources told EuskalKultura.com that they are now preparing its inauguration.
