Uztaritze, Lapurdi. Carnival begins tomorrow with Fat Thursday (Ostegun Gizena in Basque), even though in Uztaritze they have been celebrating since February 1, thanks to the Hartzaro Festival. The 17th edition of this festival, that will last until February 12, was organized by the Herri Soinu Association and presents a full program of activities with entertainment, concerts and shows.
Tomorrow, Tutak will make its premier in Latsa, created by the young artist Jokin Irungaray (1987, Itsasu, Lapurdi). Musician, playwright and storyteller, Irungaray is also the show’s stage director (interview with Irungaray here, English version)
