The International Day of Euskera is celebrated on December 3rd every year, and many Basque clubs in the Diaspora are joining in the event.  We have heard of activities planned in every corner of the world: Sydney, Madrid, Mallorca, Berlin, Mexico, Quebec, Boise…We’ll leave you with a small live of those.  There will be a separate article on activities in Argentina.

Donostia-San Sebastian.  Basque clubs in the Diaspora are working full tilt these day on various get-togethers, festivities and activities to celebrate the International Day of Euskera.  This celebration, born as part of an initiative by Eusko Ikaskuntza in 1948, especially invites Basques in the world to celebrate Euskera and acquaint their communities with it.  Year after year, Basque clubs around the world step up and hold strong to their commitment.

Here is a small list of the events that we have heard about to date.  We know that there are more, without a doubt, and invite you to tell us about your events in our comments section so that we can add it to our agenda.
