Bilbao, Bizkaia. The labor market in the field of science and research is moving and this week we are letting you know of two initiatives designed to enhance and support the hiring of highly qualified workers and researchers.
We’ll begin with the Provincial Government of Bizkaia, whose application deadline is May 19. This is a provincial research program co-financed by the European Commission (EC) with a budget of 2 million Euros over four years 2012-2015, for the recruitment of approximately 50 new researchers from around the world. The first round’s budget is 700,000 Euros.
These grants are aimed at companies, universities, associations and foundations with a registered office, or having a job center in Bizkaia. The grant will finance between 50% and 100% of the cost of recruitment, promotion and networking of researchers.
