Beñat Minondo was a very well-known figure in Argentina and Uruguay, due to his work as treasurer and member of the Euskal Argentina Association. He traveled frequently to Rio de la Plata and his last trip to both countries took place last October-November, when he participated in the National Basque Week in Rosario. His attendance of this year’s festivities in Villa Maria had also been announced.
