Euskal kultura

Donostia-San Sebastian. With the motto “Land of Creativity, Discover the Land of Euskera” the website can be read in Basque, Spanish and English (the French version is forthcoming). The “portal to creativity and Basque culture” provides a panorama of the reality and the cultural contribution of Euskal Herria, both traditional and the Avant Garde. It is useful for Basques as well as for foreigners: for individuals, friends or visitors who want to learn more of about our cultural reality.

BasqueCulture.eus provides a selection of arts and relevant proposals of the Basque culture, including sections such as: the land, the language, traditions and society, cinema, music, art, literature, the performing arts, gastronomy and people.

It also includes a collection of short books that can be downloaded for a first introduction to the subject. Also a directory with functional information for those who would like to delve further into any of the topics, providing contact information of agents, or people involved.

BasqueCulture.eus came online at the end of last year thanks to the Etxepare Basque Institute.
