Marcos Paz, Argentina. The Zuhaitzaren Herria Basque Club in Marcos Paz in the province of Buenos Aires participated again in the Immigrant Festival organized by the city. The 20th edition of the festival took place last November on the weekend of the 16-18th, and gathered a large audience that enjoyed the food and artistic performances by the participating communities. In the case of the Basques, the club held its typical taberna that provided traditional food and drink. On stage, representatives of Basque folklore were the intermediate and adult dancers from the Denak Bat Basque Club in Cañuelas.
Zuhaitzaren Herria also reported happily to EuskalKultura.eus that they achieved legal stats and that the board of directors, led by Fernando Garitonandia, is taking the last steps to become a member of FEVA.
The Basque club is also satisfied with member, Cecilia Olivera beginning the new course of Euskara Munduan that kicks off with a barnetegi in January of 2020.
