Neuquen, Argentina. The “Baskos of the Confluence,” Basque Club founded in 2016 has spent two years providing activities to spread the culture of Euskal Herria in Neuquen and Cipolleti. Since last April, it has done so with a new legal status as an association with legal entity, Zorionak! This now opens a new range of possibilities when it comes to organizing and participating in events.
Along with workshops in mus and gastronomic events that the club is already providing, “Baskos of the Confluence,” is also organizing a big lunch to possibly take place in August, along with new Basque film screenings. As part of the later, they will show the documentary “Volar,” about gender violence, produced by the Emakunde-Basque Women’s Institute.
To complement the documentary, there will also be a talk by specialists from the University of Comahue and NGOs.
