Vitoria-Gasteiz. Good news for Euskal Etxeak! As Gorka Alvarez Aranburu announced shortly after taking over as the Director of the Basque Community Abroad, the call for Basque Government grants for Basque clubs and federations has been pushed up so that they will be published in the Official Bulletin of the Basque Country, EHAA-BOPV, before the end of the year. The publication of the call opens the application period for this program.
As such, the entire process is pushed up with dates that will be announced ahead of time, and the results of the applications will be published in 2019 on a date that is more reasonable for Euskal Etxeak. Remember the Resolution of the 2018 grants is expected tomorrow.
The budget for grants to Basque clubs in 2019 totals 902,300 Euros, 782,307 of which are destined to Chapter IV (operating expenses and activities) and another 120,000 to Chapter VII (infrastructure and equipment).
EuskalKultura.com will remain attentive to the publication of the 2019 grant call in the coming days in the EHAA-BOPV, and will publish it as soon as it appears. Deadlines for Basque clubs and entities to apply for these grants begins the day after the announcement is published in the Official Bulletin and used to run for a month after, however this year, the deadline will be February 28th.
