Asier Vallejo, director for the Basque Community Abroad, left the Basque Country yesterday for Uruguay and Argentina, where he will meet over the coming days with Basque club representatives as well as national federations. This weekend he will be in Montevideo to meet with FIVU and members of Uruguayan Basque clubs. Next week he will visit Basque clubs in Argentina and on Saturday, will attend FEVA’s annual assembly in Buenos Aires.
Donostia-San Sebastian. The Director of the Basque Community Abroad, Asier Vallejo, will be in Montevideo this weekend accompanied by Andoni Martin, to meet with Basque club representatives in the country. The trip will continue on to Argentina next week where the Basque delegation will visit various Basque clubs and will hold meetings with FEVA and other institutional representatives.
On Saturday the 25, Vallejo will participate in FEVA’s Annual Assembly, the federation of Basque clubs in Argentina that will take place in Buenos Aires. For this occasion, he will be joined by historian, Oscar Alvarez Gila, who will present a project of recuperation of the historical memory of the Basque-Argentine community.
Elections will be held at the FEVA meeting where the vice-president and some directors will be elected.
