The Euskal Echea club has been created as a social, sports and cultural extension of the century-plus-old Euskal Echea Cultural and Charity Association. Students, parents, alumni, personnel and members of the clubs, as well as their guests are allowed to participate, in Llavallol. On the other hand, the Euskal Topaketak (Basque gatherings) are a proposal by the Department of Basque Language and Culture in Buenos Aires City.  The second gathering will take place tomorrow with an attractive theme: gastronomy.

Euskal Topaketak – Basque Gatherings

This year they also started Euskal Topaketak – Basque Gatherings, organized by the Department of Basque Language and Culture at their headquarters in the capital.  The gatherings take place on the last Thursday of the month beginning at 18:30 at the facilities on Sarandi Street.

The cycle began on March 31 with an event that was focused on Euskera, its current situation and a basic introduction to the language.

The second event will focus on Basque gastronomy and will consist of a practical class taught by Eduardo Oliveto where he will teach how to prepare pintxos.  The event is tomorrow at 18:30 at the Gernika Room at the School.  As spots are limited, interested individuals need to enroll ahead of time by emailing: euskalkultura@euskalechea.esc.edu.ar
