On June 14th at the College of the Vizcainas in Mexico City the second edition of an International Conference on the Basque-Navarran presence will take place organized by the Jose Maria Basagoiti Historic Archive, and the Bascongada Society of Friends of the Country (RSBAP) in Mexico. The event will analyze the contribution of Basques and Navarrese throughout the history of Mexico and Central America in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Mexico City, Mexico. The important presence of Basque-Navarrese in Mexico and their contribution throughout the history of this country will be the focus of study and analysis on June 14 during the international conference entitled, “The Basque-Navarran Presence in Mexico and Central American in the 19th-20th Centuries.”
This is the second edition of this event, organized by the Jose Maria Basagoiti Historic Archive along with the Bascongada Society of Friends of the Country in Mexico. The conference will take place at the College of the Vizcainas, known as the College of San Ignacio de Loyola in Mexico City. The event is open to the public and admission is free to anyone interested in the topic.
