Aiko Taldea is a group of musicians and dance masters that promote the diffusion of traditional dance from the Basque Country.  During July the group will tour Navarre, Gipuzkoa and Bizkaia teaching Basque dance workshops and dances in several locations.  They will be in Pamplona during San Fermin and afterwards will pass through Berastegi, Errenteria, Markina-Xemein, Arrigorriaga and Ispaster. 

Donostia-San Sebastian.   On July 13 Aiko Taldea will begin its tour of workshops and dances in Iruña-Pamplona, in the middle of the San Fermin festivities with a Dantzaldi Erromeria at the Oinez Txokoa in Taconera-Vistabella.  They will teach basic step and traditional choreography of the popular dances in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.

On Friday July 17 the group will be in Berastegi doing a free dance workshop at the Town Hall’s multiuse hall beginning at 7pm.  There they will teach dances that will be done later on at the public dance that will take place on August 9^th at the same place.  The workshop will be taught by Irune Arrizubieta.  Anyone interested in the workshop can ask for more information via email: bulegoa@aikotaldea.eus or by calling 634 423 539.

The next day, July 18, it will be Errenteria’s turn, with a new Dantzaldi. This initiative, and as it has happened over the last few years, Aiko taldea will join in the events celebrating Erromeri Eguna at this Gipuzkoan town.  Erromeri Eguna has been organized for the last 14 years by the Ereintza Dantza Taldea.

 The last three dances will take place in Bizkaia.  The first in Markina-Xemein (July 19), the second in Arrigorriaga (July 20) and the last in Ispaster (July 25).  
Las tres últimas romerías serán en Bizkaia. La primera en Markina-Xemein (19 de julio), la segunda en  Arrigorriaga (20 de julio) y la última en Ispaster (25 de julio).
