Macachín, Argentina. Although the pandemic continues to be news, the truth is that in recent weeks, and as a result of the care and vaccination campaigns, everything seems to indicate that the virulence of COVID-19 in Argentina has begun to subside and that in a short while, social activities will be able to be planned again. Faced with this new panorama the Euzko Alkartasuna Basque Club in Macachin is taking this opportunity to reaffirm its determined commitment to the future and communicates to the community that they will host the National Basque Argentine Week in 2022.
Tomas Vicente, club reference, told EuskalKultura.eus that his possibility arose as a result of a change in the dates with the Basque club in Villa Maria. Shortly, they will get to work and resume organizational meetings. “We still do not have a specific date for the week. We would like to be able to hold it over the long weekend in November, but we have to see that it does not coincide with other events, in which case we may hold it earlier,” Vicente said.
With this new invitation for Macachin 2022, the Semana Vasca organizing Basque clubs will be as follow:
- Macachín, 2022
- Necochea, 2023
- Tandil, 2024
- Bahía Blanca 2025
- Villa María, 2026
