Santa Rosa, Argentina. Last year’s event, it’s first, gathered some fifteen thousand people, in numbers provided by the organization, when they were originally expecting some two thousand. Encouraged by this success, the organizers have announced the Second Festival of Collectivities in the Pampa including more communities than last year. The announcement took place at the Zelaiko Euskal Etxea in Santa Rosa, according to the La Pampa Daily.
The organizing committee is composed of "representatives of the Arab, Basque, Spanish, Umbrian, Southern, Piedmonts, German, Bolivian, Trentino, Italian and Ligurian communities," explains the newspaper.
“The intention is for communities that have yet to participate in the event to also join in, Israelis, Paraguayans, Senegalese, Chileans, Bolivians,” Omar Assad, reference for the Arab community said. The event will take place at the Horacio del Campo Fairgrounds in Toay.
