Bordeaux, France. Firm in its objective of “living the Basque culture,” the Basque club in the capital of New Aquitaine, invites its members and friends to a concert by the choir Etxekoak, that will take place tomorrow, Friday, February 21st at the St. Pierre Church in Grandignan at 8:30pm. Etxekoak, is a men’s choir with more than 40 members and a 25 year-long career in the Bordeaux area that will perform a repertoire of traditional themes.
And don’t forget the next Basque dance session on Monday, February 24th from 6:30-8:30pm, directed by Marie-Pierre Roy. You must be a member of the club to participate, but that can be taken care of easily on Monday.
Latest Activities
Over the last few weeks, the local Basque club opened its doors to soccer fans so they could watch the League of Champion Games on the big screen. They also organized a Mus Tournament, leading up to the National Tournament and finally the World Championships.

They also held the “Songs for All” in January, a musical activity that also incorporates dance accompanied by local instrumentalists. And its culinary workshop “Goxoki,” and the first edition of “Euskal Quiz,” a trivial contest related to Basque culture and language with local, national and international news.
