Cañuelas, Argentina. The Dantzari gathering that the Denak Bat Basque Club organizes to celebrate Day of the Basque Homeland will take place this year on April 6-7. This year marks the 13th edition of the event and so the Basque club invites anyone who has previously participated to share photos of those events either of the dance performances, or of the public dance. Photos can be sent through all social media (Facebook, Instagram).
The event will begin on Saturday afternoon with a Tamborrada and dancing perdorming in the Plaza and will continue at the Basque club with a public dance to the music of Daniel ‘Jopo’ Galfredo. For Basque cider lovers, there will also be a little-big surprise with the presentation of Txapela. Finally, at the farewell luncheon five of the most veteran Basque club members will be recognized and the club choir and the Zutarriak band will perform.
Denak Bat also announced that the Dantzari Gathering has been declared of interest by the Senate of the Province of Buenos Aires.
