In Santiago, Chile the Euzko Etxea there organized a complete celebration over two days. The first, on Sunday March 27, with mass (with the Basque choir), followed by a private ceremony at the club, around the sapling of the Tree of Gernika, where they sang “Gernikako Arbola” with txistularis Raimundo and Aitor Riquelme who also played Gernikako Arbola and traditional songs like “Ikusi Mendizaleak” on the txistu and tamboril.
The main event took place on Sunday, April 3, with a day of activities at the clubhouse.
