Buenos Aires, Argentina. For those that couldn’t enroll in the class at the beginning of the year, this Buenos Aires Euskaltegi is now offering another change for students in the last trimester of the year. The beginning class begins today, September 2nd at 6pm, meeting every Monday from 6-9pm at Bernardo de Irigoyen 826, CABA. Classes will provide basic knowledge, the minimum for a presentation, describing your surroundings and to enough to hold a brief conversation. Information on Basque culture will also be provided.
In this way, Euskaltzaleak has expanded its course offerings now making 11 the number of courses they offer face to face, online, some 70 students are in the online program that they also provide.
75th Anniversary Celebration
The Basque Language School remain loyal to the objectives set by its founders who in 1944 proposed maintaining Euskera in the capital city. Now, 75 years later, members will now celebrated their work that has gone uninterrupted all these years. This was celebrated with a party attended by some 100 guests that enjoyed a talk by Silvia Azpiazu, songs by the institurion's choir and dance performance by its dantzaris. Photos of the event here.
