Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since its inception this March, the presence of Txapela Natural Basque Cider, produced in Argentina in the traditional Basque way with local products, has become more important, not only at Basque club events or those at Basque institutions but also at other gastronomic spaces not linked to the community. This presence also carries with it a festive diffusion of the Basque and the culture of Euskal Herria with its typical products and customs. In this context, Txapela will launch "Pintxo + Pote Txapela" in September and October with pintxos made by the chef at each restaurant and free flowing Txapela cider.
The "Pintxo + Pote Txapela" can be joined at the following restaurants:
-September 18, Restaurante Vasco Zazpirak Bat in Itziar Aguirre, Rosario
-September 19, Mercado Belgrano Tienda OHNO, CABA
-September 21, Resto Bambú, Cañuelas
-September 25, Restaurante Amalur, Centro Laurak Bat, CABA
-October 12, Hotel San Carlos, Villa del Dique, Calamuchita, Córdoba
-October 25, Burzako Restoran & Tapas, Temperley
The cider that will accompany the pintxos will be served to the cry “Txotx,” directly from the barrel just as it is in cider houses in the Basque Country. Remember that Txapela is produced by the Argentine company, Patagonia-Astigarraga SAS by the Otaño-Goikoetxeas, one of the main cider families in the Basque Country.
Reservations are required ahead of time at each establishment.
