Activities continue at the Casa Basco-Brasileira in Sao Paulo that recently participated in the debut of Morra.com an independent film directed by club member Valter Lopes, who also included other members in the project: Pedro Duarte and Sonia Ferreira. In other news, another group of Basque students has recently started taking Basque classes.
Sao Paulo, Brazil. The Casa Basco Brasileira in Sao Paulo recently participated in the debut of the film Morra.com, an independent project directed by Valter Lopes, Basque club member that has worked in the world of television for the last 30 years.
The film, an action film, tells the story of a serial killer who chooses his victims on the internet. The film was done in the community with the support and collaboration with technicians, actors and participating associations. Among them are club members, Pedro Duarte and Sonia Ferreira, actress and member of the club’s board of directors.
Additionally, the club has also welcomed a new group of Basque students. “We now have seven groups of Basque students,” Oskar Goitia, club president, told EuskalKultura.com.
