San Salvador, El Salvador. As we published in a prior article about Aberri Eguna, Day of the Basque Homeland is celebrated by many Basque clubs around the world. As on prior occasions, some clubs celebrated Aberri Eguna last Sunday, while several more will do so in the coming days and weekends. Among those celebrating last Sunday was the Euskal Etxea in El Salvador, whose members met at the clubhouse in the capital city of San Salvador for the occasion.
This year’s celebration included special characteristics with a performance by Basque singer; Hibai who gave performed a selection of his songs. Those attending enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by club members and sharing songs in honor of the date.
