Antonio Andrés Urbieta in a photo taken as a part of the Basque choir in Chile (courtesy of Berriketari – EE) Antonio Andres Urbieta lived a long fruitful life.  Born in Plentzia (Bizkaia) on September 22, 1918, he was 16 when Franco’s coup d’etat took place, and that September was wounded in Bilbao in a bombing.  In April of 1937, he joined the Irrintzi batalion of Gudarostea, the Basque Army. Rosario, Argentina: “Trainera at Home,” Basque dishes and the best wines at home with chef Itziar Aguirre’s Basque seal

“Trainera at Home” is already in this main Argentine city, delivery of Basque dishes without breaking the quarantine At the end of February Itziar Aguirre (see here) announced a new persona project “Trainera Basque Cooking.” At that point, nobody imagined that the virus would affect our daily activities shortly after.  Since February, the circumstances have completely changed but not the enthusiasm of the Basque-Rosarine chef to launch her “Trainera” (rowing boat) into the water.
