Like many others, the London Basque Society - Euskal Etxea has been obliged to cancell its in person events, and move to the virtual. This morning the sad news was announced about the death of Marta Invernoz, who had been hospitalized at the Pilar Austral Hospital with a serious pneumonia, as a consequence of COVID-19. Marta Invernoz was one of the Beti Aurrera Basque Club’s pillars, an active member of the local SADE and a former city council member.
