The Bernardo Atxaga Chair celebrates ten years at CUNY in New York.  Beginning today, the first chair created by the Etxepare Basque Institute will analyze precisely the writer from whom it receives its name in a seminar entitled “The Literary Creation: Memory and Writing of Bernardo Atxaga.” Taught by Mari Jose Olaziregi, doctor of Basque Philology and Professor of Basque Literature in the Basque Studies Section at the University of the Basque Country UPV-EHU.

The Lagun Onak Basque Club in Pergamino celebrates its 69h anniversary The local Lagun Onak Basque club will celebrate its 69th birthday this Saturday, October 24th beginning at 11 am in a form that is now known as hybrid, meaning partly virtually and partly in person.  In this way, the Euskal Etxea will upload contents to its social media in the morning and in the evening, there will be a sale of typical food at the clubhouse.
