The Basque community in Concordia at the Ibaiko Izarra Basque Club has strong ties with the community. During the year it participates actively in events organized by the City and the United Immigrant Association in Concordia, normally in person, however, due to the pandemic, this year their participation has been virtual.

The Gure Txokoa Basque Club held its Annual Assembly virtually on April 30h where the annual report and balance sheets for 2019 and 2020 were considered and the management corresponding to the extension of the mandate of the previous board of directors was approved. The Euzko Etxea in Santiago held its General Assembly online on Wednesday April 28th approving, among other issues, the previous Minutes and the 2020 Balance and Report. Elections were also held, and resulted in the re-election of President Ignacio Bastarrica for another term, along with three other directors in their positions, and Carlos Gurrutxaga also joining the board.

The contest through which the Beti Aurrera Basque Club pays tribute to Gernika and the victims of the bombing has now reached its 10th edition in 2021. Co-organized with the Argentine Society of Writers, SADE, in Chivicoy, the call open to anyone in the nation was presented as part of the 84th anniversary of the massacre.
