The offshore power plant or wave farm at Mutriku is the only commercial facility (it is not a prototype) in the world that operates by regularly feeding the grid with electrical power produced by waves. It has been operating since 2011 and the study by the UPV/EHU’s EOLO group analyzed its behavior during the 2014-2016 period.

El volumen de pedidos logrados durante el ejercicio 2017 por la compañía vasca asciende a unos 1.500 millones de euros. CAF ha firmado un contrato por un importe superior a los 100 millones de euros para el suministro de 18 tranvías Urbos con la empresa india Larsen & Toubro Limited, que está llevando a cabo el desarrollo de un sistema integrado de transporte en la República de Mauricio --Mauricio Metro Express--, proyecto con un valor aproximado de 450 millones de euros.

A linguist from Basque is in New Zealand to exchange language revitalisation strategies with Māori. He's already met with Māori figureheads including Timoti Karetu to equip him with new tools to help strengthen his language. Basque Native Imanol Miner Aristizabal is broadcasting knowledge about his language with a goal to make it stronger. "We are struggling to normalise the language for the whole of our society."

Ignacio Goitia, artista español, presentó la exhibición ‘The Unpredictability of Time.’ Dot Fiftyone Gallery presentó la exhibición, The Unpredictability of Time del artista español Ignacio Goitia. Una muestra que ha sido curada por Sofía Bastidas, y donde el artista, nacido en Bilbao, País Vasco, mostró lo más reciente de su producción en espectaculares pinturas de gran formato.
