El Centro Vasco está trabajando en varios proyectos, como el rescate de la bodega Harriague denominado “Urubarri” conjuntamente con la Universidad del País Vasco. Se les ha concedido por parte del gobierno de Salto, un área para construir lo que se llamará “Espacio Guernica” que será un lugar público destinado al homenaje a las víctimas muertas en el bombardeo de Guernica.

The Nazi aircraft appeared above Guernica in the late afternoon of April 26, 1937. It was market day in the historic Basque town, with hundreds of residents congregated in the central square.
