Rita Beatrice (Uria) Deren was born July 1, 1934 in Stockton, California; passed away peacefully July 30, 2016 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at the age of 82. 

Rita found the greatest joy in her faith, her family, and her Basque heritage. 

With her death, our hearts are shattered. 

She is survived by her three adult children, Erol Deren (Dawn), Marcus Deren (Julia) and Tanya Harlin (Ben); her beloved grandchildren, Nicole, Kristy, Matt, Robert, Meleesa and Tyler; and her treasured nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister and her beloved husband, Art. 

Memorial Mass will be said in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. at Resurrection Church of Santa Rosa on September 17, 2016.
