Jaione Arrieta Galarraga spread the sad news this Sunday.

With deep sorrow I must inform you that our dear friend Mikel Urkiola Mendicute died this morning. His body is being veiled at the French Pantheon at Legaria Street. His remains will be buried tomorrow morning in the French Pantheon.

Mikel Urkiola, as all his family and his sisters Itziar, Jone and Amaia, was an active participant in all the cultural and social life of Euskal Etxea of Mexico. He was a dantzari and had been member of the Club's dance group, an active mus player, always supportive and taking part in the tournaments organized by Euskal Etxea, always ready to contribuite to the Center.

He was a good friend of many and everybody will miss him.

There will be a Mass on Tuesday, May 19th for the eternal rest of Mikel Urquiola at 20:00 in the church of San Ignacio in Polanco.
