Marcelino Larruscain "Olate" was born in Bolivar Vizcaya.
Played Jai Alai in Palma de Mallorca, Manila Philippines and Tijuana, Mexico.
He was a professional Jai Alai player for 23 years and upon his retirement he became a judge in Bridgeport Jai Alai as well as Hartford and Milford Jai Alai. He then continued to work at Textron Lycoming until 1992 when retired. Loved by all especially his wife Trini, daughters Chiqui and Maribel and their spouses Tom and Fran. He was blessed by five grandchildren - Nick, Tina, Amaia, Mikel and Maite who he adored. He passed on his birthday on February 20, 2004 in New Haven, CT.
