Today Hugo Ariel Zaldua Ferreira passed away.

Hugo was the member number 1 of the Basque Center Saltoko Euskaldunen Taldea in Salto, Uruguay.

It was its first Lehendakari, a member of the founding Board of Directors of our Euskal Etxea and also in three more terms.

He was the father of our members Andrea, Federico and Natalia, brother of Luis Zaldua, current president of our Institution, of Jorge and Sergio, passed away, and together with his son Federico was part of the Board in different periods.
